The Li045 network camera from Lumenera Corp. incorporates ObjectVideo video analytics, which offer automated real-time detection, tracking and analysis of objects of interest in surveillance situations. Providing analysis at the camera head, the system is equipped with Texas Instruments’ DaVinci processors and Pixim Inc.’s Orca Chipset, an ultrawide-dynamic-range (120+ dB maximum) sensor. Available in monochrome and color versions, it provides 720 × 480-pixel resolution at up to 30 fps across a standard 10/100 BaseT network interface. Selectable mjpeg and H.264 compression addresses requirements for higher-quality images or lower bandwidth to stream video data. A 1/3-in. CMOS sensor scans >540 lines of resolution.
