Laseroptik GmbH now can coat optics with ion-beam-sputtering technology, which produces coatings via a stable and repeatable process with low-particulate and high-packing density, with smooth surfaces and low process temperatures. The coating technique can be used to create mirrors with high reflectivities and low losses, thermally and mechanically stable coatings, extreme spectral characteristics, high laser damage thresholds and coatings on sensitive substrates. The company also offers electron-beam evaporation, ion-assisted deposition and magnetron sputtering, and it will honor special requests.
