The fixed-chromatic dispersion-compensation module for high-speed DWDM networks extends the level of compensation to 400 km with insertion loss below 5 dB. Based on proprietary and patented multichannel fiber Bragg grating technology, the device is available as a mountable optical module. It provides 100-GHz channel spacing and measures 242 x 65 x 8.6 mm. Operating bandwidth is >30 GHz.
