Version 5 of Mountains software for analysis of micro- and nanoscale geometry and of 2- and 3-D surface texture has been released by Digital Surf sarl. Running under Windows Vista, XP and 2000, it is compatible with all surface metrology instruments. An analysis work flow provides a tree view of all elements in progress and displays dependency relationships among them graphically. A page viewer makes it easy to use the integrated desktop publishing features, and a generalized zoom function provides detailed graphical analysis of data. The mini doc feature enables predefining a sequence of operations and applying it to a set of measurement data in an analysis document.
