Navitar Inc. has unveiled high-resolution double-sided lenses that are telecentric in both the object and the image space and that are designed to work with CCD and CMOS cameras with up to 28.7-mm-diagonal sensors.Magnifications range from 0.03× to 2.00× and, for large-format cameras, from 0.239× to 0.478×. The lenses produce <0.1% image distortion and no parallax error or image vignetting, and they maintain magnification within the entire depth of field. LED ringlight, coaxial and collimated illumination accessories provide uniform lighting. The back focal length is adjusted on the basis of a C- or an F-mount standard, and a spacer kit with instructions for fine-tuning the back focus for a specific use is supplied.
