The Windows-based IMS Motion Console software from National Aperture Inc. provides a direct and intuitive motion control interface, with no programming required. Designed to work with the company’s MC-CQ motion controller/amplifier system, the software integrates the motion controller and drive electronics, communications hardware, motors, stages, cameras and human-machine interface devices. It enables real-time interaction with the system as well as joystick control from lowest to highest speeds without adjustment. Multiaxis position sequences can be executed directly from the embedded spreadsheet. In addition, additional spreadsheet columns can be configured to hold sequence timing and flow control commands as well as serial communication transmission and response data, providing control of RS-232 and RS-485 devices.
