Toptica Photonics AG has announced a digital feedback “controlyzer” for fast and low-noise tunable laser frequency stabilization and control circuit analyzing. The DigiLock 110 performs digital computer-controlled locking. It has two direct digital synthesizer scan controllers, two PID channels for piezo and current control, and computer-assisted automatic hardware zoom. Key features include high-frequency A/D and D/A converters with up to 100-MHz clock frequency and up to 16-bit depth, a 100-MHz field-programmable gate array and advanced software for communication between the device and a computer.
