Mitsubishi.jpgMitsubishi Electric Europe BV’s ML5xxx series high-power laser diodes typically are used in stacks for diode-pumped solid-state lasers to achieve output of several thousand watts. The ML5CP8, ML5CP9 and ML5CPxx semiconductor laser bars provide stable oscillation at 807 nm, with standard CW light output power of 40 or 60 W. The multi-emitter chip measures 10 × 1 mm or 10 × 1.2 mm. The single-emitter ML561E10-01 offers CW light output of ≥1 W at a typical emitting wavelength of 805 nm. It is integrated in a 10.5-mm-diameter TO-can package. Applications include industrial, medical, test and measurement, scientific, printing and film exposure.
