Its new high-power vertical diode-laser stack arrays are available in wavelengths ranging from 630 to 1900 nm with output power up to 100 W continuous-wave (CW) per bar, said Dilas Diodenlaser GmbH.

The vertical stacks are designed specifically for applications such as diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) lasers, material processing, defense, reprographics and medical applications requiring kilowatts of CW or quasi-continuous-wave (QCW) laser power in a compact, easy to integrate package, Dilas said.

DilasLaserStacks.jpgThe water-cooled vertical stack is available up to 70 stacked bars, with collimation for fast-axis as well as fast-axis and slow-axis configuration. The advanced housings are able to endure the toughest tolerances, and the high-precision optic mounting and online sensoric-testing give users full control and allows all beamlets to be parallel within +/- 3 mrad for reliable operation, the company said.

The standard design includes a dust protective or a hermetically sealed housing with a window featuring an  antireflective coating. Several different models are available, with custom solutions upon request.

The standard models can be customized to fit specific requirements for interfaces, beam propagation and mechanical dimensions, among others, Dilas said.
