Farfield Scientific Ltd. has introduced the Cellulose AnaChip, a mimetic surface on which molecular-scale behavior and reaction mechanisms of paper and fiber can be studied. AnaChip surfaces are designed to complement and expand the measurement capabilities of the company’s AnaLight dual-polarization interferometry instruments. The AnaChip provides information on surface properties and interactions for paper technology and manufacture. It also provides a platform for the study of fabric care, including pretreatment and washing.
