The SD1024F, released by Verity Instruments Inc., is an RoHS-compliant spectrograph for semiconductor process applications. It has a 200- to 800-nm optical system that uses a 1024-element scientific-grade thermoelectrically cooled 1024 × 128-pixel CCD. Benefits include ultraviolet response down to 200 nm, stability against degradation under ultraviolet exposure, high sensitivity, a wide dynamic range and good output linearity. Resolution is <2 nm, slit width is 25 μm, and operating temperature range is from 0 to 40 °C. The system runs on a 95- to 250-VAC supply at 50 to 60 Hz.
