Request InfoOptituneBraggone Ltd. has introduced molecularly tailored materials that increase the efficiency of solar cells. To tune the optics of the cell, the antireflection and hydrogenation optical and electrical layers are introduced via a spray coat, bake and repeat process, rather than by the traditional and more expensive chemical vapor deposition process. The materials are spray-coated onto the cell or glass and cured at high temperatures. The process captures as much light as possible in the cells, reducing optical loss and improving the efficiency of electrical conversion within the cell or module....See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Spectra September 2023 IssueBeam Profiling SystemThe Ophir® BeamWatch® Plus noncontact beam profiling system from MKS Instruments Inc. is designed for measuring focus shift, focus spot size, and position of high-power industrial lasers...Photonics.com 6/23/2023PhotosensitizersAlfa Chemistry’s photosensitizer line includes porphyrins, ketone, acridine, ruthenium, iridium photosensitizers, naphthoquinone, and other types for solar cells, catalysis, biomedicine, and...BioPhotonics Nov/Dec 2023 IssueSapphire and Ruby BallsThe Meller Sapphire and Ruby Balls from Meller Optics are miniature high-precision sapphire and ruby balls for use as bearings and mechanical components in medical and scientific instruments and as...Photonics.com 5/10/2022Payload RobotThe N-220-2.7 payload robot from Comau is a 220-kg device featuring a modular set up, direct kinematics, absolute calibration, and enhanced algorithms.
