Cincinnati-Inc.jpgCincinnati Inc. has launched the CL-840 and CL-825 linear-motor-drive laser cutting systems featuring Fanuc fast-axial flow resonators with 4000 and 2500 W of continuous power, respectively. Both are available in 5 × 10- and 6 × 12-ft cutting table sizes. The dual-pallet design allows one pallet to be unloaded and reloaded while the second is being processed. The drive system offers acceleration of >2 g, head-positioning speeds of up to 10,000 in./min and dynamic positioning accuracy of ±0.001 in. The CL-840 processes mild steel up to 1 in. and stainless steel and aluminum up to 1/2 in., and the CL-825 cuts mild steel up to 5/8 in. and stainless and aluminum to 1/4 in.
