Kinetic-Systems_Ultimate-Op.jpgThe vibration-damping 5300 series optical tables from Kinetic Systems Inc. provide maximum dynamic deflection coefficients of ≤0.3 (10)–3 and maximum isolated relative motion (IRD) as low as 0.8 (10)–9 in. They feature broadband damping and quad-tuned dampers in each corner. Their overall flatness is ±0.005 in., and the core shear modulus is 225,000 psi. Available in sizes up to 6 × 20 ft and in thicknesses up to 36 in., the tables have a ferromagnetic stainless steel top skin, a carbon steel bottom skin, and an epoxy-bonded honeycomb core featuring the proprietary Spillpruf design for protection from spills. They are Class 100 cleanroom-compatible and, optionally, Class 10. Accessories and customization are offered.
