Agiltron-Inc_Isolators-3.jpgThe OI series high-power optical isolator manufactured by Agiltron Inc. guides light in the forward direction while minimizing reflection and scattering in the reverse direction for any state of polarization. Operating at 980 and 1060 nm, the device produces a typical insertion loss of 0.8 dB, with 1.2 dB maximum, a wavelength-dependent loss of 0.2 dB and typical isolation of 25 with 20 minimum. Minimum return loss is 50 dB, and optical power handling is a minimum of 2 W with 20 W maximum. Based on proprietary magneto-optics technology, the isolator can be made using a variety of fibers, including HI980, HI1060, LMA and other double-cladding types.
