A series of standard diffractive optical elements with patterns such as dot arrays, dot circles, circles and cross patterns has been announced by Holoeye Photonics AG. The optics are fabricated from plastic materials such as polymethyl methacrylate and polycarbonate. Designed to fit into many standard laser modules, they measure 8 mm in diameter and are 1 to 1.2 mm thick. Custom designs are available upon request, including elements for projecting patterns on inclined surfaces and ones with arbitrary angles of diffraction.
