The iFlex-Viper II announced by Point Source Ltd. is a multilaser engine suitable for precision instrumentation applications and featuring proprietary kineFlex fiber optic technology. It incorporates up to six laser wavelengths, covering the visible range from 405 to 640 nm, each delivered simultaneously or individually via one single-mode polarization-maintaining fiber optic cable. It includes a mix-and-match choice of diode, gas and diode-pumped solid-state laser types with power of up to 50 mW per line and optical noise of 0.25% rms. M2 beam quality is ≤1.1, beam divergence is diffraction-limited, operating temperature is from 10 to 40 °C, and analog modulation is up to 1 MHz. The laser head measures 455 × 335 × 84 mm.
