Optical Transceivers for Mil Aero

Teledyne Microelectronics has introduced a line of fiber optic transceivers that use high-reliability industrial parts (HRIP) and comply with 2x5 standard package defined by an industry small-form-factor multisource agreement.

The transceivers operate from -40 to +95 °C and meet shock and vibration requirements as specified in MIL-STD-810. Critical surface areas are conformal coated for moisture resistance (MIL-I-46058C) with a Parylene coating.

Teledyne’s transceiver is designed to be used with either an LC/SC detachable connector interface or a pigtailed connection.
