DISPLAY GLASS

Photonics Spectra
Feb 2008
Corning Display TechnologiesRequest Info

Corning-Inc.jpgCorning Inc. has introduced its fusion-formed Jade glass with built-in high thermal stability for advanced display in the high-end, feature-rich mobile device market. It works with low-temperature polysilicon and organic LED technologies in mobile device applications and does not require secondary heat treatment or polishing. The glass supports the advantages that low-temperature polysilicon technology affords for advanced mobile devices, including better electron mobility and a higher aperture ratio, resulting in brighter displays and reduced energy consumption. It provides a flat, pristine surface with good surface quality and dimensional control, and it enables customers to integrate more components directly onto the glass.
