The OVSRRGBCC3 from Optek Technology Inc. is a surface-mount RGB LED with a 150° viewing angle. The device contains three diodes, one for each color, in a 3.2 × 1.0-mm package that is compatible with automatic pick-and-place equipment as well as with infrared and vapor phase solder reflow processes. It can be mounted as either a top- or side-emitting device. The AlInGaP red, InGaN green and InGaN blue diodes have a typical intensity of 125, 300 and 75 mcd, respectively. The LED operates in the temperature range of –40 to 85 °C.
