The new Cube model outputs 100 mW at 405 nm and is contained in the same 100 x 40 x 40 mm (3.9 x 1.6 x 1.6 in.) package as all other Cube lasers. This increase in output power has not come at the expense of beam quality or noise, the company said, because the semiconductor laser-based Cube 405 still provides a TEM00 beam (M²<1.5) and less than 0.2 percent rms noise (from 20 Hz to 10 MHz).
