IRnova.jpgIRnova AB has introduced a series of detector Dewar cooler assembly (DDCA) modules, with split as well as integral cooler solutions, based on its quantum well infrared photodetector technology. The company manufactures the focal plane arrays, and partners specializing in cooler and detector manufacturing assemble them into complete modules. The IRnova640 split cooler DDCA features a 640 × 480 focal plane array and a linear compressor. Peak spectral response is 8.6 μm, maximum frame rate is 60 Hz, optical response is 7 μA/°C and typical overall operability is 99.9%. Mean temporal noise equivalent temperature difference (NETD) is 25 mK, and mean spatial NETD is 15 mK.
