ILX_Lightwave.jpgThe LRS-9550 high-power test system released by ILX Lightwave Corp. is a life-test and burn-in system for laser diodes with drive currents up to 40 A. It can be configured with up to eight independently temperature-controlled shelves supporting up to 512 high-power laser diodes. It also can be configured with heat exchanger-based temperature control for low cost, or with thermoelectric coolers for individual fixture temperature control with stability of better than 0.2 °C from 25 to 85 °C. With the ReliaTest system control software, multiple device types and test scenarios can be configured without complicated programming.
