JenoptikLaserdiode.jpgFor use in print and medical applications and for pumping of solid-state lasers, Jenoptik Laserdiode GmbH has released passively cooled quasi-CW diode lasers on a CS-mount. Both the JOLD-300-QPNN-1L and the -270-QPFN-1L produce a maximum pulse length of  ≤0.3 ms with a ≤4% duty cycle, both have a center wavelength of 808 nm at 25 °C with 5-nm variation, and typical spectral bandwidth for both is 3 nm FWHM. Typical operation current is 275 A, with a maximum of 290 A. Typical and maximum threshold currents are 17 and 22 A, respectively. Maximum operating voltage is 2.2 V. Operating temperature is from 15 to 30 °C, and expected lifetime is >1gigashot.
