Semrock.jpgSemrock Inc. has announced the addition of a second-harmonic-generation dichroic beamsplitter to its BrightLine range of nonlinear microscopy filters for multiphoton biological imaging. The filters’ low group delay dispersion broadens a 100-fs laser pulse by less than 1%, increasing sample penetration depth. The filters maintain linear polarization for reflected laser light and transmitted signal light for all polarization orientations by controlling polarization dependence. The ion-beam-sputtered dielectric optical coatings have a high laser damage threshold and low temperature sensitivity.
