Headwall Photonics has unveiled two hyperspectral sensors in the Hyperspec family that can be used for UV and color measurement applications. One sensor measures across the 380- to 780-nm VIS region, and the other detects from 330 to 825 nm in the UV-VIS region. Both sensors let in <0.01% stray light typically and exhibit 82.5 nm/mm bandwidth dispersion, f/2 optical throughput and spectral bandpass of 0.99, 2.06 or 3.30 nm, depending upon the slit size. The A and C series versions of the VIS sensor operate at 34 and 12 fps, respectively.
