Bandpass filters

Barr Associates Inc. has unveiled a line of near-IR bandpass filters that are available in a variety of bandwidths and with out-of-band blocking that is suited for the responsivity range of common IR detectors. Features include bandwidths as narrow as ≤1% of the center wavelength or as wide as 50% of the center wavelength, and in some cases, wider. The filters are available mounted or unmounted in custom shapes and sizes and are designed for normal or abnormal incident angles. Transmission ranges from 60% to >90%, depending on the center wavelength, bandwidth and blocking. Applications include spectroscopy.
