DILAS.jpgDilas has introduced conduction-cooled fiber-coupled diode laser modules that can be used for medical treatments and for solid-state laser pumping. In the modules, diode laser bars with 1550-nm, <12-nm FWHM emission are coupled to shape memory alloy fibers with a 400-μm core diameter and a 0.22 NA. Depending on the number of bars chosen by the customer, the power output ranges from 5 to 30 W. Optional accessories include an integrated pilot laser, a monitor photodiode, interchangeable protective glass, fiber connector temperature control and a fiber detection sensor.
