SVS-Vistek GmbH’s SVS-274 2-megapixel camera achieves 24 fps at full 1620 × 1220-pixel resolution. Higher frame rates can be realized in partial-scan mode or by using the 1/2- or 1/4-readout options. The decimated readout modes leave the field of view unchanged. The camera features a 1/1.8-in. Sony CCD sensor in monochrome or colour configurations. System integration and configuration are accomplished with the company’s ConvenientCam software or with its user-friendly software development kit, both of which facilitate adjustment of key parameters, including gain, offset, exposure time and binning. The software allows users to choose between free-running or triggered modes. The camera hosts a variety of objectives via a C-mount. The Camera Link version, which measures 50 × 55 × 43 mm, and the GigE version, which measures 51 × 51 × 65 mm, are suitable for use in small spaces.
