Optech.jpgOptech Inc. has announced that its Ilris-3D portable laser-based ranging, imaging and digitizing system for the commercial survey, engineering, mining and industrial markets is now compatible with Maptek I-Site Studio software tools for laser scan data processing. Large point data sets can be interrogated, modeled and manipulated efficiently on a desktop PC or on a field laptop. The direct import of the Ilris IXF data into I-Site Studio provides users with effective point cloud data processing. The 320 × 320 × 220-mm laser system operates at temperatures from 0 to 40 °C and is weatherproof for outdoor use.
