Pyrophotonics.jpgPyroPhotonics Lasers Inc.’s PyroFlex 2 series industrial pulsed lasers use a software pulse control process to shape parameters to exact specifications for microprocessing applications. The patent-pending process combines fiber-coupled laser diode pumping technology with programming control and incorporates an optional optical isolator for pulse stability. Peak power is 1000 W, maximum average power is 2 W, and maximum pulse energy is 30 μJ. Tunable pulse width is between 2 and 120 ns, and TEM00 beam quality is M2 <1.1. Operating temperature is from 15 to 45 °C. Pulse width, height and repetition rate can be set independently. The lasers are available at 1064 and at 532 nm.
