DILAS.jpgA single bar-based fiber-coupled diode laser module from Dilas delivers up to 50 W of CW power at 808 and 976 nm through a 400-μm SMA fiber with a numerical aperture of <0.22. Intended for end-pumping of solid-state laser materials for fiber lasers as well as for medical applications, the instrument measures less than 100 × 31 × 20 mm and features a wall plug efficiency >35 percent and a typical spectral width of <4 nm, FWHM. The laser power from the module is delivered through a detachable single core fiber, which is terminated with a standard SMA 905 connector. The modules are based on a single laser diode array and are available in an overall height of <30 mm. Optional accessories include an integrated pilot laser and a fiber detection sensor.
