Hyperscan.jpgThe Hyperscan hyperspectral sensor for stationary and airborne applications is available from Opto-Knowledge Systems Inc. The system combines an imaging spectrometer, thermoelectrically cooled CCD camera and intelligent control software to provide 1.3-nm spectral resolution in the 400- to 1000-nm range. Systems also are available for the 900- to 1700-nm and 1000- to 2500-nm ranges. Among other sensor features are spectral binning, region-of-interest control, a high-resolution scanning mirror (operation in stare-scan and continuous-scan modes for ground-based applications), versatile mounting configurations and interchangeable apochromatic lenses. Flight configurations include global positioning and attitude heading and reference systems.
