Edmund-Optics.jpgEdmund Optics Inc. has introduced a family of infinity-corrected long-working-distance objectives. The eight lenses have a plan apochromat design that enables resolutions from 5 to 0.34 μm. They allow working distances as long as 34 mm, and they have numerical apertures ranging from 0.055 to 0.55. They provide magnifications from 2× to 100×, calculated based on a tube lens focal length of 200 mm. The mounting threads for the objectives have a pitch of 26 × 0.706 mm.
