Impex High Tech GmbH has unveiled the 1064-Q Laser OEM, a 1064-nm pulsed laser that operates in a longitudinal single-mode, passively Q-switched regime and generates more than 5-kW peak power in nanosecond pulses. The repetition rate is from 0 to 20 kHz and the average power is >100 mW, both depending on power rate and inter-nal absorber start transmission. Pulsewidth is ∼ 2.4 ns, and pulse energy is >10 μJ. Designed for OEM applications, the device features a monolithic cavity, trigger input and output, a transversal TEM00 beam and a compact rugged housing. Applications include microscopy and laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy.
