Moria.jpgMoria Inc. offers the One Use-Plus SBK microkeratome, an instrument used in laser vision correction surgery, particularly in SBK (thin-flap lasik). According to the company, the device compared favorably or equally in clinical trials to the femtosecond SBK flap technology in terms of flap thickness predictability, speed of visual recovery, higher-order aberrations and the smoothness of the stromal bed. Featuring a single-use head, the linear and automated device comes assembled and enables one-handed usage. It has motors for head advancement and blade oscillation. The design of the suction ring makes the use of a speculum unnecessary on small fissures.
