DILAS.jpgDilas has introduced conduction-cooled, fiber-coupled laser diode modules at 1550 nm for applications in pumping, medical treatments, materials processing and defense. Available in single- or multibar configurations, the modules are shipped with 400-μm, 0.22-NA SMA fibers that deliver 5 to 30 W of output power depending on the number of diode bars integrated into the module. The devices feature sealed housings, and high-brightness and -coupling efficiency. Optional accessories for the single-bar version include an integrated pilot module, a fiber detection sensor, interchangeable protective glass and temperature control for the fiber connector.
