Carl-Zeiss_AmpliGrid-inAction5.jpgCarl Zeiss MicroImaging GmbH has introduced the SlideCollector 48 for its laser microdissection systems. The collector is compatible with the Palm MicroBeam and the Palm CombiSystem, and it enables optimum combination of noncontact laser capture microdissection and AmpliGrid technology. When combined with the company’s RoboMover automatic collection unit, it offers high-purity specimen preparation and direct, subsequent analysis with minimum reaction volumes. It was developed for expression analyses and applications in immunobiology, stem cell research and forensics.
