CarlZeiss.jpgCarl Zeiss MicroImaging Inc. has introduced the Axio Examiner fixed stage microscope for patch clamp experiments on nerve cells, examination of brain sections and measurement of electrical signals on cells. The product is based on the company’s LSM 710 NLO laser scanning microscope. It can be connected to up to two AxioCam cameras and, with a special physiology software module, users can visualize IR DIC or IR Dodt and fluorescence in individual and merged live windows. The specimen area is flexible and has a free working distance of up to 100 mm.
