Request InfoEdmund Optics Inc.BARRINGTON, N.J., Aug. 19, 2008 – Edmund Optics Inc. has introduced IR holographic wire-grid polarizers designed to polarize light from unpolarized infrared lasers sources and ideal for attenuating light from polarized sources. The wire-grid polarizers are manufactured using a holographic technique that creates a submicron wire grid spacing of 2700 grooves/mm. The holographic method creates finer groove spacing for short wavelength performance. The polarizers are available in a 25-mm diameter with a clear aperture of 18 mm and a ring thickness of 5 mm, or in a 50-mm diameter with a clear aperture of 34 mm and a ring...See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Spectra June 2023 IssueGlass PolarizersLASER COMPONENTS’ Ultrathin 90 µm colorPol® polarizers provide high transmission efficiencies and contrast ratio in telecommunications applications.
