Powerlase.jpgDesigned for solar cell processing, polysilicon annealing and organic LED flat panel display manufacture, the Starlase 100G and Starlase 200G green lasers manufactured by Powerlase Ltd. are based on the rapid laser patterning technique for processing thin-film coatings on plasma television screens. With average powers of 100 and 200 W, respectively, at 532 nm, the lasers offer nanosecond-duration pulses. The output beam of both models can be homogenized to provide top-hat or thin-line profiles.
