Scitec Instruments Ltd. has unveiled its Model 360 ultraminiature rotating disc optical chopper system for OEM applications and compact research projects. The system includes a chopper head, drive board, photochemically etched discs and interconnecting lead. It uses 30-mm-diameter discs and can be employed to generate chopping frequencies from 10 Hz to 14 kHz. Its small size enables use in compact spaces, and each component is available separately.
