The system (PO-CS1-70-W808) consists of a 2-D planar vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) array mounted on a high thermal conductivity submount. It produces 70 W of output power in CW mode, with a spectral width of about 0.8 nm, a thermally stable emission wavelength (0.06 nm/K) and low beam divergence. It is immune to backreflections and can operate at high temperatures of up to 80 °C.
