BaySpec Inc. has expanded its SuperGamut near-IR spectral engine line with the introduction of the Nunavut long-wavelength Raman spectrograph. It features a dispersive f/2 design with no moving parts, delivers high throughput and is housed in a compact package. Spectral resolution is 8 cm–1, spectral coverage is up to 3300 cm–1, and signal-to-noise ratio is up to 8000:1. The device uses a volume phase grating as the spectral dispersion element and an ultrasensitive InGaAs array detector as the detection element.
