VRmagic GmbH has introduced an field-programmable gate array (FPGA) camera with up to four pixel-synchronous CMOS sensors with global shutter. The sensors are connected via an LVDS data cable and can be freely positioned. Image data is coordinated on an FPGA module with at least 256 MB of RAM. The camera can be used for 3-D reconstruction and can apply light-section, gray-code and phase-shift processes to moving objects.
