Sensor Technology Ltd. has introduced the TorqSense RWT320 series digital, configurable, noncontact, surface acoustic wave rotary torque transducers with integral electronics and serial output. They are available for torque ranges up to 10,000 N•m, and they interface with LabView-based software to indicate, on any PC or laptop, the torque, speed, power and peak torque of rotating drive systems. The integral electronics enable measurement of resonant frequencies and offer user-selectable features, digital outputs and diagnostics.
