Rofin.jpgFor high-speed remote welding, Rofin Laser Macro Group has introduced the RWSflex, a laser system with a 1450 × 3200 × 70-mm working area based on a 1600-mm focal length. With a control unit from ABB, the system offers offline programming capability to ensure flexible work preparation, and it creates laser-step-welding for any geometry. Although operated with proprietary CO2 slab lasers, solid-state lasers with high beam qualities also are suitable.
