Teem.jpgThe 1064-nm SNP-30F-GM1, a passively Q-switched microchip laser from Teem Photonics, produces subnanosecond microjoule pulses at kilohertz repetition rates. Housed in a compact turnkey package, it is suitable for gemstone marking, supercontinuum generation, laser seeding for fibre amplification, and ranging applications. It delivers >7.5 μJ of energy per pulse, an average power of >220 mW, a pulse width of <1 ns and a repetition rate of >25 kHz. It also features a Gaussian beam profile, a polarization ratio of >100:1 and power stability of <±5 per cent over six hours.
