Request InfoMKS/NewportIrvine, Calif., Feb. 17, 2009 – Newport Corp. has expanded its optical power meter and detector family with the introduction of the 1928-C single-channel benchtop optical meter. The compact power meter interfaces with all of the company’s photodiode detectors, thermopiles and pyroelectric detectors. It measures from 11 pW to 20 kW of optical power and from 7 µJ to 20 kJ of pulse energy. The fast 100-kHz sampling rate ensures that the pulse measurements are accurate and that any fluctuations in the continuous-wave power are not ignored. It incorporates various filtering to make the reading more stable. Advanced features...See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics.com 12/12/2022Optical Sensing InterrogatorsFemto Sensing International has expanded its SX line of optical sensing interrogators for high-sensor-count fiber Bragg grating (FBG) applications.
