Request InfoMKS/NewportNewport Corp.’s Spectra-Physics Lasers Div. has expanded its ultrafast laser portfolio to include the 4W Spitfire Pro XP and the 3.5W Solstice ultrafast amplifiers. Suitable for use in scientific applications, the Spitfire regenerative amplifier outputs <35-fs pulses at 4-W average power at 1, 5 or 10 kHz. The Solstice one-box amplifier delivers 3.5-W average power at 1, 5 or 10 kHz. Both models offer good beam quality and pulse intensity, according to the company. Applications include time-resolved spectroscopy, terahertz generation, coherence control and high-harmonic generation.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSBioPhotonics Mar/Apr 2024 IssueBragg Grating Notch FiltersThe WSF series from TeraXion comprises all-fiber band-stop (notch) filters that are used to selectively attenuate or block a wavelength or a range of wavelengths while allowing others to pass...BioPhotonics Mar/Apr 2024 IssueSpectroscopy ModuletrinamiX in collaboration with LUMILEDS and VIAVI has developed a miniaturized spectroscopy module that can be integrated into a smartphone.
